Made a dress for Felicity without a trim at the collar but it just needs something.

Has anyone made a fichu? What are the dimensions? Would all three edges have trim if you decided to add lace or ruffle?

We're new Felicity fans so I'm not real sure if she has or had one in her collection.

    Thanks in advance

Perhaps a small ruffle like her Rose Garden dress, or Spring Gown has, would work? That shouldn't be hard to add on--can you post a picture?

I think a fichu is a seperate piece of lacey fabric - like a scarf - generally made in a triangle or a rectangle. You wrap it around the next and tuck it into the collar. I think sewing a simple triangle should suffice

Thanks for your advice. I'm basicly done with the dress, facing is tacked down and really hate to undo it so I just sewed some flat lace around the inside edge and it looks very nice.

I do want to figure out a shawl tho, seems it would be longer where it's tied but shorter on the back, just a long skinny triangle.
