The Wooden Soldier company sent me this Catalog, go no idea why.. but anyway. It has some of the beautiful dresses for girls! Not to mention, coats, cloaks, and other things! Even for little boys too! The prices are a tad high, but from the look on the material and the designs, they are worth it!

Well, why is Darth posting about this? I'll tell you WHY! Wouldn't it be cute to have some of the dresses, pictured in the catalog/website made into mini AG outfits! Of course, a different color or design, we do not want to steal their ideas. But if getting something almost identical, would be so nice! AG should take some lessons!

Here is the link to the website.

I hope some of you may order for your DD/ GDs and Niece's Holiday outfits!

    Just look at this dress..

Mods, hope this ok to post.

    Ria,

I've been drooling over their catalog for years! I love their designs. The smocked dresses for girls are my favorites. I've never ordered from them, but I have found similar dresses for DD from other companies.

I'd love to have some in AG sizes.

Thanks for the link. What beautiful clothes! I have received their catalog in the past, but never ordered. I have three kid's & after pricing one of the sibling outfit sets realized it would set me back over $400. . The dress you linked to has such gorgeous colonial style sleeves. I love the shade of blue.

When DH and I got married (15 years ago) I ordered our Flower Girl's dress form Wooden Soldier. I don't think I've ordered since but I love getting the catalog. Straussburg Children's is another company I love and they do make doll size clothing. Taffy has several outfits in his Take a Doll to Work album.

BugsMc......I'm not sure what style button-up boot you're looking for, but Antina's doll supply carries one style that buttons up the side, and it comes in colors.

How very sad! Wooden Soldier *used* to make doll dresses. They were part of many of the Family Ensembles. When I got too big for AG clothes, I could still get the Mother's dress and doll dress from Wooden Soldier and match my doll. They'd be a bit different in style since the doll's dress usually matched the little girl's style, but they were close enough. I wore a lot of Wooden Soldier as a kid, and they do have nice clothes. Their play clothes hold up well. I was especially fond of the swim sets where I could get a matching hat and cover up for my bathing suit.

My family got a Wooden Soldier catalogue about four years ago, I don't exactly know why because we never bought anything from them.
