I saw these this weekend at AGPC and thought they were really cute in real life..even cuter then they look in the catalog and that seems pretty tough--cause they are really cute---but enough of the rambling...
THEY ARE CRUNCHY!
I thought they were going to be really soft flannel like Molly's, but they aren't. They are hard polyester and you can feel the fabric weave. It is really weird. They are really heavy weight too. It was very strange. I just didn't want anyone to thin they were getting the soft cozy flannel of Molly's striped jammies and get some hard crunchy jammies.
I was really sad because I love the look and they would have been super cute on my DD :0(

My sister and I were in AGPNY and she was checking out the girl clothes. She read price tags and then read the fabric labels. She wouldn't buy them because most were polyester or a blend.

Thank you for the review. I really wanted these because I thought they would be soft and cozy but they're not so now I won't waste my money.

I don't think Molly's PJs are flannel, but cotton.
They don't have a fleecy surface.

Aside from being crunchy (iiicccckkkk!), they look too short to me. Opinions? I think pj bottoms should come down so the break over the top of your foot.
Yeah, Molly's pjs are cotton but I made up that pattern in flannel and they're scrumptious.

Oh no! I just bought them along with that scrumptious robe (I hope it's as soft as the doll's robe!) for my youngest dd for Christmas! I, too, was thinking it would be like Mollys...which dd has worn for three years now and loves. Maybe it will soften up in the wash...it wasn't cheap, either. I got my oldest dd Jess's pjs for girls and they were much cheaper.
I was going to buy one of those super soft robes for myself and maybe even my mom for Christmas, but I was so disappointed to see they didn't come in a size XL this time...

Are you all talking about the girl sized PJ's or the doll ones?
None of the AG girl-sized PJ's have ever seen a cotton plant in their entire life - they're all made of flameresistant polyester. Had they been made of flameresistant treated cotton (which is available) I would have bought them a long time ago.

They have changed the girls PJ's to cotton I noticed this last year when I took DD to AG place they are cotton now - At least at AG place - They are MUCH MUCH MUCH nicer and softer
