I'm going to AGPLA in August and I'm taking my doll, Anna, to get her limbs tightened. I have heard you take them in for a Wellness Visit for tightened limbs- has anyone done this? Is there anything special to know about sending them to the hospital from an AGP?

The only advantage, AFAIK, is that you don't have to pay for shipping to the hospital. They still charge to ship her back to you...

They actually have a little bed right next to the hospital admissions window where you undress your doll, and they give you a hospital gown for her. It really is way cute; and I can see how it would give a young girl a sense of being "involved" in the whole dolly-to-the-hospital process.

I've never done it, but I heard there was a room you could take your doll into and maybe even change her into her hospital gown before she goes to be "admitted". For some folks, I suppose that would be worth it; I personally would be way too embarrassed to do that, though!
