Do you live near a Jo-Ann fabric store? If so, sign up for their mailers - they frequently have sewing patterns on sale for 99 cents or $1. Vogue patterns very rarely go on sale this cheap - but you can quite often find deals on McCalls, Butterick, & Simplicity patterns. I do NOT buy patterns at full price - EVER!!! They go on sale often enough (5 for $5 or 10 for $10).

I totally agree - almost all the fabric stores, actually, run some sort of specials on patterns, and many times it's for a dollar each. Once you have a basic pattern or two, you can make most outfits just by adding your own touches.

This page also has a free pattern for AG: http://www.infinitefreedom.com/chall...ges/index.html

Jess, what style of patterns are you looking for? Historical? AGOT? Dresses? Tops and Bottoms? Let me know.. and I will check my supply.

This website http://www.bellaonline.com/site/Dollmaking has some patterns too. I haven't tried any and you have to trace them on 1 inch grid paper but they're free.

Our county extension office has a lot of patterns that you can get for $1 a piece. I don't know if they had doll patterns, though, but yours might.

I don't normally use patterns-I attempt to make my own, but some of those free ones seem interesting to try.
