Dee, Thank you for sharing this very sweet and heart touching chapter of your life.

I think you stated this thread for our support and ended with enriching all our lives with your touching updates on finding your sister. I wish you both much happiness in your new relationship. Much joy in being an Aunt.

So I have to ask, does your niece have AG dolls???? If not, how great that you will be able to share your love of AG with her. I can see a Bitty in her future.

Please post pictures of the three of you when you can.

I'm so glad I came upon this thread. Your story just blew me away. I have two half-sisters that I have never met but I know they knew me as a baby. I've always wondered about them too but never knew how to go about trying to find them. Now you've motivated me. I am so happy for you! I can't wait to hear more when you guys finally meet!

Dee - It is so great to hear such good news. I am really glad you shared it with the board. Your reunion is very moving for us all. I hope you keep us posted.

I didn't become very close with my sister until we were both adults. She is a precious gift and one of the best parts of my life. I love her like no other. I also have 4 stepsisters through my Mom's remarriage after my Dad died. They are all great. I have a feeling that all three (you, your sister and your niece) of your lives will be greatly enriched.
