Who is the expert on silver eye around here. I am watching/bidding on a naked doll who I think has silver eye in her left eye by looking at the photos. This won't stop me from wanting her or buying her, but I need to know if this is what silver eye looks like and how much does AG charge to fix this. Who can I PM the link to for an examination?

I've had a doll with silver eye before and seen tons of pictures. I'm not so sure we have an expert really, but I'd be willing to take a look for you.
American Girl fixes silver eye free of charge as it's considered a defect.
They will either try and replace the eyes, or do a head replacement.

Pretty dollie. That's strange though, most silver eyed dolls I see it doesn't seem to affect the pupil, at least not that completely.
I think she might actually have bubble-eye, going again off of pictures I have seen of bubble eye and descriptions of it.
I'm not sure if AG counts bubble eye as a defect. Either way you can try and get her eyes replaced. She really is gorgeous (yes, I am biased), and at that price how can you say no?
I really hope you manage to get her!

What is bubble eye? AG would still fix it right? Costs are important, but yes for her at that price, hard to say no.

I'm not quite sure what causes bubble eye, but some people think it has to do with water. I'm really hoping someone checks this thread whose dealt with bubble eye before.
You could try calling AG later today and ask the hospital about it. Just describe what it looks like and such and see what they say about it.
That way you'll know before you bid any higher if it's a defect they fix for free.
