There was something about Razzi's face that bothered me but I couldn't figure out what. Since I just bought 3 Razzi sets, I decided to change one. I got a fine line permanent marker and made the eyes and nose a little bigger. That created a very scary, dead-looking rabbit!

I studied the two remaining Razzis and decided the face looked more like a bear face than a rabbit. So I snipped off the eyebrow fur and the mouth threads with embroidery scissors. Then with the permanent marker, added one dot at the outside corner of the eyes to make the eyes seem further apart and more elongated. That made a rabbit I actually like.

Here is a photo of the two rabbits side by side. The original Razzi on the left looks very much like a male in comparison to the altered rabbit on the right. I might just keep it that way until I decide if I really want two rabbits that look identical.

After studying photos of bunnies I might paint the altered bunny's nose pink.

I think Razzi looks much cuter altered. Good job!! (And at least you had 3, when you got the "dead" rabbit look. LOL)

I agree, you did a nice job on him! Ours is packed away for the grandparents to give to DD next month, along with the other on-sale HH items. I'll have to see if our Razzi could benefit from similar alterations.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Yes, I agree. My boys (11 & 13) said that they could make the rabbit look good again. I didn't have anything to lose so I gave the rabbit and marker to the boys. They handed it back and forth and took turns embellishing to their hearts content, laughing all the while. The laughter alone should have worried me. The boys finally handed me a mutant vampire rabbit. I was going to throw it out but now it's just too funny to get rid of.

At the very least, you simply MUST post a picture of him!

My 7 year old wants to buy extras and modify the ears and whiskers to make little baby Coconut puppies.

Glad to see you have your bunnies out of the jail looking cage thing they came it. (I know it is a tree stump, I just think it looks dark and scary.)

I like what you did to the face. I think your right about snipping away all the extra stitching made the bunny look sweeter. She is almost saying "OH".

Tks for the information and picture.

With your topic line "Altered Razzi Rabbit" I just have to mention, that "altered" is a generic term referring to an animal that has been either spayed or neutered... so a whole different picture came to my mind, when you said "altered"

The rabbit looks adorable, by the way.
