GREEN LINDSEY??

Tomorrow I will call AG and tell them about Green Lindsey. I will post what they say. I got a Kit about the same time and she looks kind of grey compared to Molly and Samantha (acquired later). But Lindsey is a ghostly green. I will scream if she starts to glow in the dark or something!

I have another Kit from Christmas and she looks fine, not grey. and Kailey looks nice too. Green dolls are kind of disturbing. I think Lindsey has been turning this odd color over time because I never noticed it until now.

I just looked over at my girls and I have my AGOT 21 in the green bridesmaid outfit. She definately is greener than anyone else of mine. My adult daughter came in and I asked her opinion. She walked over and ointed her out and thought that it was just because of the outfit also...than I showed her this thread. [img]graemlins/cry.gif[/img] Jan

My Kit (bought in August 2003) is definitely that sickly gray color. Her skin tone looks more dull than the other girls.

Speaking of skin color, I noticed my Josefina looks more orangey than the "medium skin/dark hair" AGOT (Liz's travelling doll Arabella). She is still adorable, I wouldn't want to exchange her!

Our Kit has a slight greenish tinge. I bought her in 2002.

My good friend works for AG, and she told me that they were having a hard time with the vinyl at that time. She told me to return her, but I never did. She also told me that some dolls were just a nasty greenish color, and most were returned and replaced. It had something to do with changing manufacturers, and this new manfacturer hadn't gotten their craft figured out yet!

I have since thought of replacing Kit, but I am afraid I will get a doll with other qualities that bother me worse! [img]wink.gif[/img]

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">When Arabella arrives here I'll compare her skin color to my Josefina to see if I notice a more orangey tone in Josie. Though, like you, I wouldn't want to exchange Josie. I love her the way she is! [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
