I was excited to win Kits desk, chair, school items, typewriter, papers, and lunch kit on Ebay, all items mint, well, got it today and the chair is broken, funny thing is it was wrapped in the 2 pieces.
You can see it is broken right in the metal where it used to attach, and I spent all my extra funds on this.
ETA the bottom drawer stopper (to prevent it from going inside the desk) is also broken off.

Sorry.
Ebay is really chancy, in mho!
Even if items are described as mint, I've had many to come with flaws. I've had other items just described as used and upon delivery, I was surprised to get mint items.

I would email the seller--if they won't let you return the items, or even give you a partial refund, you can file a "not as described" complaint on ebay, so I understand. (Broken is definitely NOT mint!)
I've never had to do this myself, but many other board members have had this sort of experience, and may be better able to advise you. Hope it turns out well!

It's good that the seller was able to give you a partial refund. Post some pics when you can and good luck fixing everything.
