Gombe Gal: Thank you, the last picture is just so sweet, and "Yes" I can see her smiling.
My dd had a PM Addy and I have a Mattel Addy. We both prefer the Mattel Addy, but this is one doll where I don't think it matters that much. They are both gorgeous!

I love getting a new doll from AG, and even though there are lots of great deals to be had on ebay, I just love opening a never played with doll.
One other key factor that alot of people don't know: many of the early edition Addys (PM) have soft brown eyelashes. The one that I just sold on ebay did. Newer Mattel and some Pleasant Company Addy's have stiffer black eyelashes.

Thank you Pumpkin, I can see the difference. They are both beautiful. But do they have the same numbers on the back of the neck?

My Addy/2005 Addy

My Addy has darker, richer skin and rosier cheeks. She is much chubbier than the 2005 Addy and her hair is thicker and more textured. She's MUCH prettier than 2005 Addy in my opinion.
One thing to also keep in mind, is PM Addy's have such thick hair that it is super hard to brush! I try to always keep Addy's hair pulled up, and only brush it when I'm changing a style. It is soooo thick! Let me see if I can find a pic...
First, let me say this, I LOVE Addy, But if you want a doll that has hair that is fun to play with, a PM Addy is not for you. I honestly fight with her hair every time it is down, but it looks so beautiful styled! I am so happy I have her, because she is just so sweet and beautiful but another doll will be better (or a Mattel Addy) for anybody that wants to do a lot her hair.
Now one to a couple more pictures:
Boy this girl has a lot of hair!
But she is darn cute!
I love her a lot!
My personal opinion is get both!
You can never have too many Addys.

I have a Mattel Addy and I love her. I also plan to get PM Addy as well though. So I practice what I preach!
