Help with posting a picture

I am having problems posting a picture in a post. I have the picture loaded in photobucket and it is resized, but I can't figure out how to get the picture to appear instead of the link. Help! What do I do?

Hi Christine,
I had the same problem earlier today (I thought it was the [img] code under the individual pic). Then I found the 'generate html and img code' button at the bottom of the album. You select the pic you want from your album and then click on the 'generate code' button.
I used the second one that was generated to post pics of my Jess earlier but in hindsight maybe the clickable thumbnail is better? I think either works [img]smile.gif[/img]

Hang in there I am just learning this stuff too. So many times it is frustrating!!

It depends where you want the picture to show up. If you want the photobucket picture to just appear in the body of a thread, you use the <tag> code. Just copy and paste it from photobucket. It will show up as the html address when you are typing your reply, but it will show up as a picture after you add your reply.

If you want the picture to show up in your signature, you use the [IMG] code.

If you want it to show up as an avatar, you have to be sure that it is in JPEG format.
