I am just so happy and so excited, I had to share...I have been looking for a decent paying job for AGES now. I graduated college two years ago but since then I have only been able to get crummy retail jobs that barely pay the bills. I have been trying to get some sort of office/receptionist/secretary job that will pay better and give me full-time hours for a long time now, but no place I applied to would give me the time of day because I had no experience. It's been so frustrating. But this morning I had an interview with a company less than five minutes from my apartment. They had me take a bunch of typing/computer tests that I did well on, and they just called me an hour ago and offered me a full time receptionist position that will be paying me over TWICE what I have been making in retail every month. Now I will actually be able to pay for gas and food and bills and have some left over for fun stuff! I am so relieved...to not have to worry constantly about money is such a huge weight lifted off of me.
After I get my first paycheck, I might take a little trip to AGPC and get myself a Jess to celebrate.

That is so wonderful! Congrats! I know how hard it is to find a job after college, so I'm very happy for you! Treat yourself to a new Jess! You deserve it!

It's hard to get a good job. For a while I was looking for a full-time job that had decent pay, but that never worked out. After that I decided I should head to grad school and now I'm just looking for a part-time thing.
Congrats on your new job. I know you will truly appreciate it!

Congratulations!! Looking for a job is difficult and stressful -- glad things worked out for you. And yes, when that first paycheck rolls in, it's definitely reward time! (Then it's savings account time....)
