    Hi everyone!
I was just wondering what this trade in is that everyone talks about. One poster got the b-day table for like 4 dollars because she traded in books. How does this work? What do they give you for your items?
    Thanks everyone!

I think you are talking about people returning the "Meet" books that come with dolls back to AG. Also, you can undress a doll and return the "Meet" outfits back to AG. I believe the books are worth $5.95 each and the outfits vary but are worth around $24 for the Today Girl.

Do the books need to be in mint condition?

    Thank-You again

Yes - you need to include everything that came with the outfit (including the hair things and the panties for the full return).

Check the books carefully. AG wasn't too impressed - my DD wrote in the back of one and I didn't even know.

Do they just take back the "Meet" books? or the other ones too?

Yes, they do. I had double meet books of Kaya and they exchanged it with no problem. As long as it is new, it is fine. They are so helpful.

When I got my party table I returned Kirsten's meet book-still wrapped in plastic, a set of the little doll combs, never opened, and Elizabeth's doll, new in the box. Everything was in perfect condition.I went to the website and printed out the returns form and just used that. It was very simple, and here in Illinois I got my return in exactly one week.
