No -- although every time I search I end up with Kirsten's Sari, LOL.

A sari is traditional dress for girls and women in India. Also sometimes spelled as saree. A salwar kameez is a long tunic over pants. Very feminine and beautiful. I'm looking for doll-sized versions.

You bring up a good point...I'll change my thread title to avoid confusion. Thanks!

I think she means one like this:

    HalloweenMarisol

Mine came from a seller called bendzel. But I recently wrote to her how well I liked her directions for putting the sari on (they were excellent!) and she wrote back that she was glad I liked it and she wished she could put more up, but she was working on her son(?)s upcoming wedding party and didn't have much time currently to sew for dolls until that was over. So hopefully she will be back soon!

Does anyone have a good source for sari or salwar kameez for 18 inch dolls? I've seen sari every so often on EBAY made by talented seamstresses, but none recently...and I can't recall any sellers' names. Plus, I know I've seen some in albums here!

    Thanks.

Hi, Do you mean Kirsten's doll Sari? I'm not sure if that's what you mean.

So beautiful!!!!! And thank you...that was the name of one of the sellers I was thinking of! I may try my luck with writing just for the chance of it...maybe she has another one stashed away, LOL. Thank you again.

    Any other sari-makers out there???

I've been dying to have an East Indian sari for AGs! I use a pretty scarf at the moment, but I'd much prefer a real doll-sized sari.

Eleanor, I just PMd you with the name of a lady I write to online who makes saris. I sent you the link to her Picture Trail album too. Edited to add: I PMd everyone and have a small correction to make. The person I thought was making these has just started to make them. But another friend who I had forgotten about does make them. So I can get in touch with her if anyone is interested. You can still PM me though. I'll be sewing but will check back from time to time. My other friend's name is Leah. (is it ok to say that much--I'll PM her ebay ID although she doesn't list real often)
