I wish the set wasn't so expensive if you didn't want the doll.
We have the old wicker set and I'd love to get the new starter set (minus the doll) but it's so darn expensive.

DD got the Bitty Starter 4 yrs ago, when it was wicker. Personally It hink that the new one has more "stuff" for little girls to play with.
I would recommend getting the starter kit if you can-it adds to the fun when she gets the doll.

Go for it! If you don't need the doll, just sell her. My daughter bought me this set for Christmas & we, well that is I, LOVE it! The items for baby included are like what I would have bought for my own babies. They're nothing my daughter would have bought for her child.
Best of all, I got a brand new bitty baby! We didn't need another bitty, but it makes sense to buy the whole deal.

Does anyone know if the BB trunk is the same size as Marisol's trunk?
Thanks for all the reviews of the Bitty starter collection. I've been eyeing it a while now but I'm holding out till I get an asian "Our New Baby" from ebay.
