I'm not sure if I still have the pics but I bought a Kirsten from a wonderful HB member and rewigged her with a brunette wig and named her Laura Ingalls. She was a gift to my niece, who loves Little House on the Prairie. Funny thing is, she renamed her Sunny- lol.

I have a Molly that decided to be Laura. There is a pic in my for sale album for selling a Molly (not her). She is the one on the far right. Not a great picture as it was for moving inventory. I haven't figured out how to make a pic appear in my siggy.

Someday I'd like to do this. I'm thinking that AGT 14 might make a good Laura, as I read somewhere that Laura Ingalls Wilder had blues eyes. I thought she could wear Kirsten's clothing, even though she grew up in the 1870's and 1880's. She could probably wear a few of Addy's things as well.

I think Laura had brown eyes and her sister Mary had blue? My Molly insisted that she would wear Kirsten's clothes and be a Laura with grey eyes. Who was I to disagree?

I'm actually working on that right now! It's just going to be slow-going because school is the top priority. I won a Samantha with a reeeeally unfortunate haircut that I'm going to rewig, although I've been having second thoughts, since her dress is tagged West Germany, so she's an older doll. But, yeah, I already ordered her a wig, which should come in anytime now. I got paint to give her a few freckles, and I'm currently making a list of outfits I'll need to make her based on the tv show (no time for the books at the moment) and what patterns I can use. I'm also working on some geologic modeling of the Johnstown flood, though, so actual work on the doll won't happen often. I'll try to post pics when she gets her new wig, though!

Yes, Laura had brown eyes and her sister Mary had the blue eyes.
That was my very favorite series of books as a child.
