Trunks: are they worth the price?

I have a PM Samantha Trunk. I got this trunk in 1989.

I like this trunk because it is very sturdy and roomy. I forget how many dresses I have hanging but I know I have at least 6 on the bar. The draws really do hold a lot of Samantha's items, like shoes, ribbons, school supplies, Samantha's doll, winter hat and muff, etc.

The only think I'd like to note and I'm not sure if I'm the only one here this has happened to but a few of my Samantha's items have turned yellow. On 4 different outfits the white turned yellow. I have always stored Samantha's clothes in this trunk since the first day I got it which was Christmas 1989. So I'm not sure if the yellow is from age or the trunk or both.

We love Addy's. It is beautiful and as others have said before the workmanship is superb, worth every penny!

I have Molly's retired trunk, I found it at a thrift store for $6.99!! Yipee, I was one happy camper [img]biggrin.gif[/img] . It is missing two of the drawers, but at that price, one can't be too picky [img]tongue.gif[/img] .
