Salon chair reviews?

HI,

Any reviews of past or present salon chairs? Anyone have the Our Generation brand? Thinking of getting this for DD since she loves doing her dolls hair now. Just wondering how well it works for holding the doll in place & if it is indeed worth the $.

We have the Our Generation chair and it works perfect. We set it on the floor and the carpet seems to hold it just fine. It was quite a steal too. We got it brand new from a garage sale for $1-a true dream!! My girls have fun with it. Their bitty twins seem to slide out, but a ribbon holds them in fine and the 18" dolls work great.

We don't have the AG one, but a couple of different people have posted that they really liked the new one because it has a suction cup bottom and a seat belt. I think that would be really nice because we have the Our Generation one and it doesn't have a strap OR suction cup bottom. When you try to style their hair you have to hold the doll in the chair with one hand and style their hair with the other hand!

DD even usually ties her doll in the chair with ribbon.
