My boyfriend has expressed some intrest in building some bunk beds for Sara and Jess.
Yes, he is the single best boyfriend ever.
Anyway, I think someone has tried to do that (or has had their husband/dad/boyfriend/other male type person/other female type person so that I'm not being sexist) on this board. Does anyone have any advice/measurements/picutres?

HI,
I just got this book the other day, (MOM to JILLIAN told me about it ) and it has a pattern for bunkbeds in it. I do not know the measurements & the book is now wrapped for dd's Bday. They had solid head & foot boards & looked pretty straight forward. The book also has some really fun patterns for a picnic table, school desk & chair, a canopy bed, trunks, dressers & even a grandfather clock. Your boyfriend just might not be too thrilled with that many project ideas. My dh said, "Gee, thanks" as he rolled his eyes & grinned.

Bean Bunny did you ever find a pattern for bunk beds? I would like to find an easy one to make. I'm thinking of making some out of PVC piping but I really wanted something nicer looking.

My dad made Susanna bunk beds from solid pine. Check out my dolls album for pictures!
