I need help with the dates of a Samantha (pix included)

If she has a peach body, then she should be West German. It should be lighter in color than the typical PM.

Yes, her body is peach. Also her eyes definately have the more 3d speckled look. Her eyelashes are the longer brown ones too. However I am not sure if she has the older style hair.

The earliest Samanthas had the same hair color as Molly -- light brown. This went with the white body. I have a Sam from the next group, light beige body, dark brown hair, whom I believe dates back to 1989. YOUR Sam has the same facial expression as my Liana, whom I bought new in 1992. I'm guessing that with the amount of color in the face of the mystery Sam, plus her relative body size, she might be 1996 or 97? The dolls sold between 1992 and 1995 had no lip color or blush to speak of and she does. But her face shape is too wide for the late 1980's. IMHO, anyway.

My other PM Sam's are from the 1995-1997. Those both have the stiffer eyelashes and more recent eyes. So I know the mystery Sam is deffinitaly older than that...

I only have premattel and mattel dolls so I have no other older girls to compare her to.
