My new scene *Awesome pic*

YAY! I got an e-mail from my mom's boyfriend (pretty much my step-dad), and he finished painting my scene for me. It's a moderized version of Molly's classroom. The only thing left is to add a clear coat before he can send it. It is 3 pieces of either posterboard or foamcore board (I can't remember which), with each peice measuring 30" tall and 20" wide. So, my whole scen ends up being 30" by 60", which means 2 1/2 feet tall and 5 feet wide. Wow!
I think it looks awesome and can't wait to see it in person. I'm still doing the happy dance. [img]smile.gif[/img]

That is so well made! If it's foamcore, you'll just have to make sure the sides don't get pinched. I pasted my collage to a foarmcore back the other day, and the sides kept getting pinched as I carried it around, so they look a bit odd.

It's really impressive, though. Very cool! Once I take painting classes (and thus learn how to paint, rather than just use pastels, which get everywhere), I may have to do one for Beatrice.
