Jess is adorable in person. The only thing I didn't care a whole lot about was her hair seems thin when out of the braids. But we're to attached to her to send her back. Our Jess's head also leans a little to the right but it's not that noticeable.

I'd also look at the eyes. I was so concerned about getting a Jess with a good wig that I didn't notice ours had one eye larger than the other until we got home from AGPC. I also remember others posting about eye problems.

Yes! Thank you! I also looked at the eyes, because I had also heard that some people had gotten one with one eye larger than the other. I forgot that one. [img]redface.gif[/img]

Thanks for the advice on what to watch out for. Last year at AGPNY, dd just walked up to the first Marisol display and chose a box, and I never thought to check her. Turns out she's perfect, but I think dd would love her even with "flaws." Sounds like Jess has more issues though.

I can just see DH and DS pacing around as DD and I rifle through boxes looking for a defect-free Jess. Oh well--we're sending them to the NBA Store anyway so we can shop in peace!
