Well, we had another ultrasound today and we were finally able to find out...
It's a Girl!!!!!
She is in a very awkward position laying sideways with her head facing my back, so I maybe having a c-section(would be my first). I have to go back Thursday to see my Dr. and go over the ultrasound(he isn't in on Tuesdays and I had scheduled two appts instead of waiting until Thursday for both, so I could tell my Dad before his 70th Birthday Wed.).
This means more AG dolls and fun for years to come.
Nicole and Cass are happy and excited to be having a girl.We were finally able to go shopping for a few newborn outfits.

Congratulations!
Is there anything cuter than newborn clothing?!
I had a c-section-- don't let it scare you. I'm sure it will all be fine.

We are going to sit down together and go over names tonight.
The name that keep sticking in my head is Katie.
Months ago, Cass colored a picture of a baby girl named Katie for the baby and it is still on the fridge.
Nicole said we can call her Kate.
Also my Grandmothers name (she has passed away a few years ago) is Katherine or Katie for short.
I am thinking a c-section might not be too bad in a way, if it is scheduled. It would be nice to know what day the baby would be born and not go into labor.

Oh! This is wonderful! Another lovely girl in your family! Congratulations!
Katherine is a lovely name and can be handwritten beautifully. You can shorten it to Kate or Katie, both are good shortened names.

That is so exciting that it is a girl!! Girls are the best! (I had such anxiety that my second would be a boy - that I almost wouldn't go to the hospital to actually have her!! She was a girl - and I didn't have any more just in case!! )
Katie is a lovely name - but if it were me I would name her Katherine or Kathleen or Katelyn or Katriona or something so she would have a lovely, dignified full name if she ever wanted to use it - like she wanted to be a lawyer or author or something. You could still call her Katie but she could use the full name if she wanted as an adult.
Don't worry about her being turned the wrong way. She could still turn. My baby was bum down until the last week or so before she was born - I spent a lot of time on an ironing board sort of leaning upside down and my husband called and talked to her and shone a light and she turned around!! Crazy!! - but it was worth it. I had an easy natural birth and left the next morning instead of having surgury (C-section) and all the recovery that involves. You can also try to have the baby turned while doing an ultrasound although you have to be prepared for an emergency surgury then in case the cord gets squished.
Anyway - I'm sure you'll investigate the options!! Good luck.
I am happy for you!! I would have LOVED a huge family of girls!!
