Girls Yippe - Such Fun
Don't stress about the C-Section. Both my girls were planned C-Sections due to medical conditions.
Jessica came as per planned and is 7 Years Old with no problems - Never felt a 2nd of Labor with her
Josette came a month early and was an Emergency C-Section and no problems with her.
The Biggest concern with C-Sections for infants is that the pushing in labor helps to expel fluid from the lungs and for obvious reasons this doesn't happen with C-Sections.
My one bit of advice is get up as soon as you are able. Get off the Morphine drip as soon as you can and you will do much better. Wish I had know that with my first.

I love the name Katie and she could use Kate for a more sophisicated name. Both short for Katherine and it's nice to name the baby after someone special to you.

Lovely news, and a lovely potential name!
You've got time for the young lady to turn, either on her own or with assistance. If you can avoid a C-section that would be ideal, of course, but you have to do what's right for your situation. I really didn't want one with my son, but a number of factors led us to deciding on a planned section on my due date. And it turned out that we made the best decision after all. If it comes to that, do your research carefully but make the best decision for YOUR circumstances and comfort level.
Good luck and best wishes for an uneventful and smooth rest of your pregnancy!

Congratulations! Oh if I were you, I'd have a hard time not buying a bitty baby to celebrate.
I never had a C-section but I did have babies turned this way and that. One son had two knots in his umbilical cord when he was born and the midwife said she had never seen such a thing. My last baby did a turn sometime during the last six weeks of pregnancy and we were relieved. I'll keep you in prayer that the labor and delivery go smoothly. Keep us posted.
