Dear Larson,

My Mom saw the other letter that I wrote to you - you know, the one with the pictures of us - and she and I just had a nice long talk. She helped me to understand that boys and girls our age should make lots of friends with both boys and girls and play lots of fun games together just as friends. I think, after talking with Mom, that I am still much too young to have a boyfriend. I had so much fun at your house just playing with you and your sisters, and I know we will always be friends. Maybe when we are both 16 instead of both just 10 we could try going on a date or something together; but for now, do you and your Aunt Jessica and any of your sisters want to come over to my house and play sometime soon?
