I am still bothered by the part in Emily's hair! I looked at all 12 of our AG dolls and none have this "realitic" looking part in their hair. Any idea why they changed the wigs? Does anyone's Emily not have the white part? I am to the point where I might just send Emily and her whole collection back without showing my daughter. Of course my daughter is still hoping to win Becky's mystery auction an and has no idea I am agonizing over this!

Technically, what you are referring to in the wig is a "skin part", i.e., where the matrix that holds the wig together is made to look like skin under the hair at the part, so that it does not look like a wig, but looks like real hair. This is done on more expensive wigs.

My Emily has that white part, I think all Emily's have it, because it looks like it is also in the Emily picture from the Imagine Magazine.

I will take a picture tomorrow when my dd is at school. I never noticed it on Addy but I guess it is because the "skin" is dark and so is her hair. I guess I am in the minority here since I don't like it. I didn't know more expensive wigs are like that, Taffy. Am I right, that this is new for AG (other than Addy I guess)?

I had that problem with Jess! I exchanged her for another and she looked much better!

(edited because I thought I had a photo of the front, and it was actually a photo of the back, so I had to take it out )
