EEP! I just remembered about my former babysitter's poor PM Samantha and I thought I'd tell you about it as a fairy tale with a moral at the end!
Once upon a time a blond little girl named Amy got a beautiful Samantha doll. Samantha was well loved, but Amy grew up and went to high school and college. Samantha loved sitting in the sun, and, rather unknowingly, the older Amy liked to leave Samantha on her dresser by the window while she was out with friends and later when she went to college. Samantha was eventually rarely played with and served as a beautiful decoration who was very much appreciated. One day, Amy came home from college to find Samantha's hair turning greenish-blond. Not to worry, she thought... but the damage was done. Samantha's hair is now bleached from the sunlight.

THE MORAL OF THE STORY IS... never leave your dollies in the sun for prolonged periods of time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh, poor Sam. I think I read on Felicity's tag when I got her not to leave them in the sun for a long time or near heat either. But I don't have her tag anymore so I can't say if that is actually where I got the info.
