This is an Asian historical from 1954. She is still dealing with the knowledge that her parents were in enternment camps during WWII but she feels American.
She has Kit's style hair, but of course it is black, and AGT #4's face mold.
Her dress idea I got from here 1950s dress so it would be inspired by a real 1950s dress.
She has lace party gloves on, and lacy socks and Mary Janes. Her hair ribbon matches the one around her waist.
I hope you like her!

I would design a doll from 1964, with long, straight, bangless hair like AGT 25 but not as dark, maybe the color of AGT 21 or reddish brown. She would wear her hair in 2 ponytails on each side, tied low each with a ribbon. I haven't decided on an outfit yet. I really, really want a 1960s doll.

Beth is very cute (I think the cat you're talking about would be a Persian ). I'd love to see a '20s doll and she looks so much like one of my characters! (Interestingly, her dollar--besides being worth a lot more in 1924--would be a different size than our dollar bills today, I believe. )
Farmhousegirl, your doll is lovely too, and I like the idea of her as well! Somehow 1939 is my cutoff for historical dolls; the '50s seems too recent to me...but I do like yours better than Molly, and she'd be beautiful.
