Congrats Linda! The couch is very nice and I really like the stove. So perfect for the girls.

Congratulations on the great finds! I hope you find a lot more on future trips. That's a long way to travel to shop compared to where I live.
My husband wants to move to a smaller town, but I don't know if we could get use to one since most of our lives we've lived in the suburbs of a large city.

Polly Marie -

I'm not sure what part of TX you are in, but out here in West Texas where I live, the long drives are pretty much a part of life. The good thing is that, with minimal traffic, the 50 mile one way drive to really shop (mall, Wal Mart, Target, etc) can pass pretty quickly.

When school starts here in a couple of weeks, it is common for us to play other schools that are at least a two hour drive from us. Makes for some long Friday nights. And usually the attendance at "away" games isn't much less than it is for "home" games!

Since I read about your find and I had to go to Columbus.... I checked out the Goodwill store and found a brand new set of pink bunkbeds for KC. She loves pink and I loved only paying $2.00.
I can see where I will be stopping and shopping at Goodwill more often. ^j^ Mrs. C.
Me! too.

Laurie,
If I remember right, the chest from Lowes was around 50.00. (Maybe a little more). We love ours.
