While no other Friend doll has gotten a pet (as Emily got Yank) Emily didn't get a doll like Nellie and Elizabeth did...Just thought that was interesting and wondered what you guys thought of it??

Jip was released with Nellie, so she kinda did get a pet.

And Patriot was released during the Elizabeth premier. Eventhough he was from Felicity's story.

I always thought of Patriot and Jip as more for the original dolls than the friends. Like the perm kit is for Molly. They're adding to the collection.

Still, I wonder why Emily didn't get a doll or a teddy bear or something like that? (I'm not sure she NEEDS one. I just wonder why she doesn't have one.)

(And no, Jip isn't Nellie's dog at all, but last I checked, if you looked up Nellie's accessories, he's there anyway. I guess that's because she has such a small collection. [img]frown.gif[/img] )

I LOVE it that Emily has a dog. I wouldn't be right without Yank, since he comes along in the ONE Molly book with Emily in it.
I'm not super bothered by the lack of a doll. I guess that's mostly because it wasn't something focused on in the books.
To me, it just seems right that Emily has her dog and her princess scrapbook.

You're right, AG*Gymnast; Jip is Cornelia and Gard's dog; I'd always thought he was the twins' dog more than anyone else's. (But that whole book confuses me a bit; a lot of it seems to come out of the blue to me!)

Anyway, I don't THINK Jip comes up in Nellie's Promise, so I still don't think Jip is hers. But that's just me!

I noticed no doll for Emily also. I am hoping that a doll for Emily will be added to the collection soon. There is more coming. I would not be surprised if Molly has a new meet outfit by August 31st.
