I won't be going to any stores until next year (mid January). Too many people, rat-fucked action figure isles, and people are just impolite fuck sticks.

How is everyone else holding up?

I took Sue out for her first Black Friday experience. In the past she had to work on Black Friday, but this was the first year she was not working.

We hit the mall to start. Not really as crowded as I thought it would be, but still too crowded for us. We spent a whopping $2 on some fries and a drink, lol.

Traffic was getting heavier outside so we just went by the comic shop to trade in some figures. Then it was off to the commissary (military grocery store). Very dead in there which was great. Spent 2 bills on food stuff and stopped by the jewelry store on the way out. I let Sue pick out a couple pair of earrings and a necklace from 'Santa' lol.

    That was enough for us.

P.S. EQ, you bastid Nice comment on the white board, lol.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I fully agree! What I usaully do is go to the shops early in the morning on a Monday and a week before Chrismas. that way I miss all the late frenzy shopping, and avoid most people as they are at work.

    Another option, on-line.

January for me is probably the worst month to do shopping, as everyone is back from vacation (all companies except retail close here for two weeks in December) to use their vouchers, exchanges or returns.

I've got half my Xmas shopping done early - all online. Gonna avoid the malls altogether if I can. This newfangled internet thingy rules!

I already have my christmas shopping done. I don't want to deal with the crowds this year. I think working retail has made me hate dealing with people even more, even when I'm just a customer and not the worker.

The only places I'll venture out to are grocery stores and the bookstore. The bookstore here is never busy, even this time of year. In fact, I'm gonna see if I can get transferred to there at the end of the season, as the bookstore is part of the barnes and noble company, which gamestop is also a part of.
