I guess for me it would have to be John and Bobby Kennedy. I was in world history class in I guess tenth grade whn the president was assasinated. I'd met Bobby a couple of times when I was interning for the Democratic Party. I remember my father waking me up the morning after he was shot to give me the news that he'd died.

I can't think about that without automatically shaking my head!

Obviously Cobain was a shocking one!

The saddest for me would be Jeff Buckley.

That must be a sign Pappy...

I've never even heard of Jeff Buckley, but I just took an online test of "Which Dead Celebrity are you the most like" and JEFF BUCKLEY is who came up when I took the test.

I said "who?" and now you've mentioned him.

    Starts and I-tunes search...

Good one Snape... The Challenger one, while not necessarily celebrities, was a shocking one for me too. I still remember that day in school as we were all crowded around the TV, watching it happen.

    As far as celebrities/musicians...

Cobain was a big one for me... I was/am a HUGE Nirvana fan. I heard the news while on vacation in Florida, and I had JUST gotten done reading a biography book on Nirvana. I was majorly bummed out.

And more recently, Indian Larry, the motorcycle legend. I liked that guy a lot... he was a very interesting person.

    Red face

I'd probably have to say Layne Staley, as AIC are/were pretty much the only band I've been into basically my whole life.
