When the wife and I moved in to the new place the repair list was long and ugly.
Today we mark one more thing off the list.
THE FLOOR!!!
Here is what we moved in to.
With a lil TLC and a few yards of new linoleum it became:
Ain't she pritty!

Always a good feeling to complete a do-it-yourself-fix-em-up project!
That's tons better. Nice job.

GREAT JOB!
Great job Guyver. Home do-it-yourself projects are very rewarding when you're done. Just make sure you keep the receipts and pictures in case you sell the house down the road. Document all of the improvements you made with before and after pictures and receipts showing what you put into the house.
Speaking of do-it-yourself projects, I'm off to a buddy's house to do one for him, lol. He's very construction challenged, lol, so I'm going over to install some baseboards and door casings in his basement. Bastid better have some beer on ice when I get there.
Well, what an afternoon I had helping my buddy.
We got all of the baseboards done except for the last two when I decided I'd cut my arm on the compound miter saw, lol. 2 1/2 hours at the ER and 8 stitches later, I'm back at home. Boy, do I feel like an idiot.

Oh, yeah: it still sucks and hurts like a bitch.Originally posted by Guyver:
