My mom-in-law has made the comeback of the century. They took the breathing tube out yesterday (much to our surprise) and was sitting up signing checks to pay bills. Exactly one week ago (on her 75th birthday) the doctor said she had an 80% chance of never leaving ICU. I would have agreed. We thought she was a goner. Welcome back to our world, Mum!
