just wondering...they are the only place to get these damn marvel legends 8 figures....i swear i wish i never started collecting these...oh well anyway i just wanted to know if $38 sounds reasonable for 2nd day air shipping...i just ordered 4 hellboy 1.5's from tower and they only charged $11 for 2nd day air......i thought this is way too much and just wondered if anyone else had a similar experience?

i probably would not have got them shipped 2nd day air if i knew the shipping was going to be $38, but they don't let you know the shipping amount until the order is processed...

the shipping from BBTS is a bit high sometimes btu they send the stuff usually very well protected in some cases to mcuh to keep them safe. Still that is to mcuh I think thats what it would have cost with reguler airmail to sweden for them I think,.

yeah...like i said i wish i knew the shipping BEFORE they charged me...now i know the legends are alot heavier than the hellboy figs (if that matters) but.....eh ....you live and you learn....

i also emailed them once yesterday and once today and have yet to receive a reply....

I've had nothing but success with them- granted I always use the $4.99 flat shipping option.

Dude I have ordered form them several times. They have always used a 5 dollar shipping rate for every piece I have ordered (even cases or sets). You can pick faster services for shipping via the website but I am fine with 5 bucks. they are stand up guys.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">they are but i needed to get them before x-mas...i don't mind paying extra but that amount seemed a tad high....i am definitely not complaining just seeing if that price seemed fair...if so i have no prob with paying to get it here quicker. he just replied...

Hi - the shipping fee is based on what UPS charges us to ship the package. The marvel legends figures are all fairly large and bulky and they have to be packaged in a large box. UPS charges us based on the size and weight of the boxe - in this case the size is large enough that they bill us a 'dimensional weight' of about 15 pounds. If my shipping calculation was substantially off we'll contact you and fix the problem, but it should be accurate, we don't mark up the shipping, its just expensive to ship large items by air. Thanks for the order and hopefully this will explain the shipping fee

    Thanks!
    Joel

ok ...i feel better now!...well maybe not that much better

I know you've gotten your response but I'll give you my two cents. I''ve used BBTS several times and I like their service. I, like most other people here have used their flat rate shipping. They pack stuff well. Their prices on some items are wacky, but I guess they have to make their money.

Oh, and as far as 2nd day air the price really depends on where they distribute the items from.
