RULES & INFORMATION: Please read thoroughly before entering!
1) You can enter up to 4 customs, but can enter each of them into only one category. For instance, you CAN?T submit figure A into category 1 and 2, you must enter it in one or the other. But you CAN submit all 4 of your customs into the same category if you want. McFarlane Toys customs (Spawn, Movie Maniacs, Matrix, etc.) must be entered into the McFarlane Toys category, UNLESS it is just a repaint. ALL repaints must be entered into the Repaint category. Just to be totally clear, a repaint is a figure that has just been repainted, and has no other modifications what so ever. If your custom has been modified in ANY other way, it must be entered into one of the other categories. Original Art is a category for traditional and modern art, such as drawings, paintings, sculptures, computer graphics, etc., and does not have to be toy related!
2) ALL board members can enter, including Moderators, and your customs can be old or new creations. One catch, you must be registered board member prior to the date this thread is posted. This is so that people can?t just join the board in hopes to cash in. If you are serious about being a member of the Unreal Spawn Board, prove it by sticking around, and you will be eligible for next years competition.
3) This contest will run from January 1st to February 28th. Any customs entered after the 28th, will not be allowed. To enter, post pictures of your customs in this thread, and above them, list the name of the custom, and the category you would like them entered in. March 1st, all entries will be compiled into a new thread and board members will have two weeks to vote for their favorite customs in each category. No votes will be accepted until that time.
4) Votes will be PMed to this board name (UnrealCustomContest) which all mods will have access to, in order to keep the voting extremely fair and safe from ballot stuffing or any shady voting.
5) If in the case that any category gets entries from just one board member. That category will be eliminated from the contest. It wouldn't be fair for a board member to win automatically because he or she was the only one to enter a category. For this reason, you are encouraged to enter different figures into different categories. That is, if you work in different scales.
6) What you all want to hear, PRIZES! We are currently working on securing some sweet prizes for this contest. Some will be announced here in this thread, and some may be kept a surprise. If all goes as planned, these will be some really hot prize packages!

Does a figure repainted with only the weapons scratch builted fit into a repaint or custom?
And by 'Original Art', does it mean a drawing or a 100% scratch built figure?
