Ah jeez, that sucks! Like you said, not only the break itself, but having to go to a dealership.

The ONLY time I have ever used the actual dealership for anything was when the car was under some kind of warranty and it was free. Otherwise I'll use someone local - and save at least 40% on the cost!

Hope the fix is/was quick and not too painful $$.

    Sorry to here that Shiner!

Let me tell you an amusing anecdote about my interesting and expensive "Venture".

First, a backstory. Most people here know that I make sculptures out of discarded electronic parts and other junk. Well, one day as I was walking home from work I found this rather interesting car part on the side of the road. It was a bit mangled but I could tell that in it's original state that it would make for a very cool robot part. It was too mangled to use and I had no idea what part of the car it came from so I threw it away. I hoped that someday I'll find another one in decent shape. That was a month ago.

Last week (whilst delivering TCM's haul) my Venture van started misfiring. Long story short, I had to have the head gasket, one fuel injector and a thermostat replaced. $1480 later I'm driving home and I noticed a bag of the replaced parts on the floor of my van. When I get home I open the bag and laugh. There's the part I was looking for a month ago! It took me almost $1500 to figure it out...a fucking thermostat!

BTW-It will end up in one of the most expensive robot sculptures I've ever made. Any takers?

It's not going to kill me, but it's going to put the brakes on any big ticket items I was considering purchasing (like the Sideshow Alien Queen - not that I have any room for it anyway ).

    As for Ford Gareee...

    Asshole before: .

    Asshole after: O

    but that's almost every dealership.

Much as I like some of the new sideshow stuff, it's getting too big, and too pricey for me anymore.

That General Grevious they are doing is killer, but where the heck would I put it?

Now if they did an articulated 15" version, I'd probably have to byte...

    LOL about the dealership description...
