With the news about Drau

after hearing that, it makes me sit here and think that alot of us have became good friends and love to get together and share our fun and hobbies. I for one have made friendships that I value more than any people that I am around in the "real world". there's so many of you that I value getting to meet up with every year and would rather be with you than with people around me.
A lot of us talk via phone, email and in person. Guess we take for granted nothing so bad like this ever happens around here. So for that reason, I'd like to let you folks know that you, believe it or not, have been an important source of friendship and support and that I value that very much. It makes the bickering and little spats here seem like nothing and I think its important to out little community here to know that it is important to some of us to have established bonds here.

So god forbid anything happen to where I or you,cant tell good friends here THANK YOU for the kindness and friendship and support,so I tell you that now.

god forbid something happen to one of the board members not as close as Baimun and Drau
some of us have no way for our family too contact others on the board..it's kind of scary once you think about it
all the people who have come and gone
some we have no idea what happened to them

this thing with Drau is really scary

I think about the group of us that have met several times in Chicago, NY, NJ, Phoenix and other places. We always loved being together and have a good time. I would so hate for something to happen to you or to any other of the friends here I have yet to meet. I often think of O13 that was here and a good friend and after the disasters in Indonesia I havent heard from him since. Makes me wonder and kind of sad to not know if he's ok or not
