HAW!!!!

I respect Schultz for creating such a well loved cartoon for the ages.....

... but I'm more of a Calvin and Hobbes fan.

Peanuts always consisted of tiny children stressing and debating about things as if they were adults. I think Calvin tapped into what childhood is all about much more accurately.

Who hasn't hammered nails into their Mom's coffee table and then just looked at her like... "What???" [img]confused.gif[/img]

but that was the wole idea behind Peaunts.

I too love Calvin and Hobbes, though.
so many of his antics brought back happy memories.
last winter at work, the youth group were building snowmen in the churchyard.
all my ideas were stolen from Calvin, and every one of them was shot down. [img]redface.gif[/img]

I wasn't comparing Peanuts to anything. I just think they were a great strip that kept up pretty good with the ages. Calvin & Hobbes was in a class all by itself.

my dad abused me seriously with that program. it was horrible. I could hear all those inbreds telling the dumbest jokes and singing songs that made you want to hurl. I believe I suffer post traumatic syndrome from that bumkin program being played in the house while I was young.
