I confuse Sylar's work with Claire's dad. Those two are not working together, right? I keep expecting Claire's dad to make brain bowls out of his victims until I realize that's Sylar's M.O.

OK - after wathcing tonight's episode...

We have a confirmation of Micah being "mapped" to Forge.

And the introduction of a new guy.

This guy has alluded to the fact that he has the potential to cause the explosion as seen by Hiro 5 weeks into the future.

I would map him to Human Torch.

    Also I just realized.

If this is a 13 episode season, then we just passed the halfway point.

    Question

So is the "human torch" guy gonna be the bomb that goes off in NY? He sounded like he was not in control of himself and had some serious anger management problems.

That is what I was thinking.

It almost seems like this episode opened the door for the rest of the season.

Two people actually realizing they can use their powers to save people (DL and Hiro), the introduction to a walking nuclear bomb with anger issues, and the setup to next week being the start of the revalation of here Claire's "Dad" fits into it all (what side he is on as when he learns they need to save the cheerleader to save the world, he seems rather shocked to the fact his daughter may die).

I am very interested with the Mahinder shot at the end where they allude to him finding more "Heroes" out there ties to teh burial of his father.

Getting rather exciting now, and all I can say is this is definately one where I will be buying it on DVD once they release it so I can take it all in back to back

I was thinking more of a Radioactive Man... the burned place was high in radioactivity, and those burns on the girls arm could have been caused by that as well.

Could also be the reason for his wife's illness.

Which leads me into a Legacy Virus connection.

Perhaps this new guy does cause the explosion because of his wife's illness. However, if the cheerleader has a super healing system, she could be infected by it, and her body would create a cure, ala Wolverine/Legacy Virius (in the old X-Men cartoon).

I had forgotten about Radioactive man. Maybe becuase he is just soo... old.

I do think he will cause the destruction, or will be the cause of it if the heroes don't stop it.

Hasn't made the connection to his wife's illness - good catch thre!

    Question

Maybe Claire will be the only one to be able to get near him when he goes into overload? Technically Peter could too if he's with Claire.
