    So far this is the only I have seen that fits my budget....sounds ok in the store. I already have a stand alone DVD, so I don't need one of those integrated ones...

    One other thing, for a small room can this be used to play music at high volume ?....just in case my daughter wants to invite friends...

    Is the sub active or passive?

    A small room? Yeah, you can run music through there, but at 800w are you sure you want to?

    <font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Can't see that on the specs....I saw in a review that is powered directly in the receiver.

    What I mean, is that if they want to have a party, the sound will be high enough without distortion.......
