Some more good, yet possibly bad news: this season of the Shield will be 21 episodes, not FX's usual 13-15 episode season.
There will be a hiatus after episode 10 in March till possibly May then the final 11 episodes will air.

It's both a good and bad thing there's a good chance this season will be the last. At least the show will end before it gets stupid... and I don't have to buy any more season box sets. [img]wink.gif[/img]
And '24' starts this Sunday!
To be honest, I'm more excited about that than The Shield.
But only by a little.

5 seasons is a respectable run for a show like this.
God knows I'm not the only one who doesn't want it to end up like Law & Order.
I've never watched Law and Order, but I dont want The Shield to end with desperate stories just trying to eek through. it is my favorite show and wouldnt want it to get old and boring
Yep, which is why taking beyond 5, maybe 6 seasons is risky.
