Yep - Before the Dinosaurs, Walking with Monsters.

DOne by the BBC, and really well done. I collect those series. Much better than the ones done soley by the Discovery Channel, the animation and animatics done by the BBC is far superior

Some of these creatures (like the giant spider and 10 foot water-scorpion) are downright creepy.
