The new Lost action figures are out, including Jack, Hurley, Charlie, Locke, Shannon and Kate, and there's so much to talk about I broke them up into two reviews. One, covering Jack, Hurley and Locke, is over at QSE. The other, covering Shannon, Kate and Charlie, is at MROTW. You'll find links to both at the usual:

Be fair warned though - even split up, these are two very long reviews! Thanks for reading,

    Question

Okay, is it me or does Shannon's right leg look pinker than the rest of her in those pics?

Guess what - you CAN integrate the boxes with the bases. There are two pegs that end up sticking out on the bottom of the frame in back once it's assembled. They're not out of place, because they are where the two pegs from the base itself enter into the bottom frame, so it's not like you wonder what they're for - the base pegs go into them from the opposite side. BUT there's also a couple holes on the bottom (opposite side from the speaker holes) of the black box that line up, and you can pop the box onto the back of the frame. I've edited both reviews with the info.

Now, I upped the talking feature a full star because of this (although it's still a weak, average feature due to the simple fact that dramatic shows generally don't have iconic lines anyone cares about), but do you think this MIGHT indicate that throwing in a little piece of paper with some visual instructions - you know, the kind you get with fifty cent Kinder Eggs for God's sake - might be warranted?

    Just... why?

Some aspects of these figures aren't sensible.
