Finally a concert worth a fuck is coming to okc, and of course megadeth is headlining the show!!

Since im a fanclub member i was able to purchase tickets early...

The tour is coming to Montreal soon too but I just can'T afford it right now. Iron Maiden is also coming soon and there new album comes out in a few weeks.

You can listen to 3 songs (two in audio format and 1 in video format) on the Iron Maiden Official website and it sounds great. Well,out of those 3 songs The reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg seems to be bring a few surprises in sound. Overall it will mainly sound like the two last albums done with Kevin Shirley so even if there is no big surprises it will be good. Of what I heard it seems closer to Brave New World than Dance of Death.

Comments from my neck of the woods on concerts and upcoming CDs:

I have not heard of the Megadeth show coming here, but would love to see them again (it has been at least 15 years since I last saw them with opening act WrathChild America).

Gwar is in town tonite - would be funny to see if any of their figures are there, but I will not be going.

I was unaware of the upcoming Maiden CD - any release date?

How about the recent Slayer CD, anyone got it yet?

Oooooo I can't wait to get that CD.. And yup, I did go last year.. Got to see the guy's up close and get a cd signed.. Save up some moola dude if you don't get the club member backstage passes (You know I still haven't joined.. Damn am I lazy) just in case FYE is there.. That way you can purchase a cd and get them to sign it (as that is what FYE was doing last year)

It's a kick ass concert.. We might go this year too, as it's coming back down to Orlando.. We'd have to drive, but hell, it would be worth it.. The only reason I say we might it cause we had already purchased tickets to go to Nickelback when they come into town next month.
