This didn't show up on the lists for this week, but when I hit Target this evening it was there.
17 minutes of extended footage, with the original opening scene animation (Castle in Kuwait) since they didn't film it.
I know this is one of those that peopl either love or hate, as with DareDevil and Electra, but with the previous two mentioned, the recut extended versions were actually a better movie.
less than $15

I can't say I hated it, but it didn't do much for me though.
I must admit I hated the scene where they tortured one of the kids living in the same building as Castle.
Might look at it if I see it at the video store.

OK, I have to admit this is much better movie due to what they added.
There wasn't much recutting or moving od scenes like what was done to Electra and DareDevil.
The movie was modified to add in the scenes cut from the theatrical release. There was a setup scene with Castle in Kuwait that wasn't ever filmed, but they went back and did the scene in a comic book style to sill in the info and set up the Castle character in his training and such.
The rest of the scenes added back in where related to a sub plot that worked really well. It tied in on the intiial scene, his work as an undercover agent, and how he was ratted out to the Saints.
Well worth the $14 dollars and a good watch.

Some parts of the film were effective; such as the family party shootout.

That scene wasn't one that changed from original to extended.
