Since they qualify it as the top 10 "Rock Guitarists"... and as long as they're not in any particular order (Hendrix should be the top of ANY rock guitar poll.)

Other than that... I would concur.

Pretty good list. Not all my favourites but pretty well done. I don't really know what made Keith Richards a top ten. Maybe longevity but if he is there #11 as to be George Harrison

Keith is a rythm guitarist... not a lead...

... but I can tell you that every rhythm guitarist I know, regardless of genre, has the utmost respect for Sir Keef and his grooves.

Personally, I'd rather listen to Prince than several of the people on the list....

... and you can tell it's an american list because Brits would be freaking out that David Gilmour isn't on it (he often is way ahead of Eddie or SRV in European polls).

Finally Jeff Beck gets some respect.
MM4, here are a couple of links to some brilliant female guitarists. Jennifer Batten played with Michael Jackson and Jeff Beck and should have a new CD in the spring. She currently tours the world giving clinics for Digitech.

Lori Linstruth plays 'European Metal and performs with the group Stream of Passion. She currently lives in Sweden and has a crushing demo CD that you can hear parts of here.

Carina Alfie is a diminutive Argentinian who is fast as hell and has played with Steve Vai. Carina's new CD 'Electric Fuzz' should be out soon hopefully.
