You'd think the movie studios would wise up.
Just release the complete friggin thing, don;t milk it a year later, and lower the prices to where they were a few years ago.
I remember buying Matrix new when it first came out for $10. And that's NOT that long ago.
Now, movies come out on release week "sale" for $19.95, and then 6 months later, Deluxe expanded versions are released as well. (Kong is an excellent example of this tactic.)
We downloaded the lord of the rings movies, an when each deluxe version was released, we bought them, becuase THAT'S the version we wanted in the first place.
(And NOW they are talking about new deluxe versions with even MORE making of BS on them!)
We're NOT stupid, and we CAN withhold our buying dollars because we DO have other options available now.

Yes, The Tempest was the first version of LOST, you're right. But most people are more familiar with Forbidden Planet.
Actually, to further boost my theory that it's all the Tempest, Stephen King's newest novel has a main character - a writer of course - who's first big book was called Empty Devils, which King relates back to Shakespeare's The Tempest in the afterword. And of course, King is a huge LOST fan...

So Mike, after the paltry handful of Lost episodes this year so far, what are you feeling about it now?
They still kinda hav me, but my interest is starting to wane some.
Too many plotlines unresolved, too many unanswered questions, and too little "meat" to sink my teeth into.

Yea, it's been very hit or miss. Backstories on Jack, Sun/Jin and Kate I didn't care about, and 80% on the situation with the Others that's gone no where. The last episode was solid, but it's no Heroes.

yeah.. Heroes, Supernatural, Battlestar Galactica and Torchwood are our favorite fare of late.
Well, those and the guilty pleasures of Earl, and H2O...

By the picture it looks to be 5 or 6 inches tall.
You also get a figure of the invisible boy but you can't see it in that picture.

Actually, he looks like he is the same size as a DVD or less, so that would make him between 4-5 inches tall..maybe he's just one of those windups we've all seen around for years, since the size seems about right.
