Heh hem....Anyone going my way at 4:00pm on Thursday the 29th?!!?

Our flight arrives at 3:48 at Newark Airport, on July 29th, and we are staying at the Summerfield Suites. We wanted to show up a day or so early just incase there was a chance to catch some of New York while we were there. Are any of you New Yorkers free on Thursday the 29th after 4pm-ish? We'd love to hang out before heading to Jersey.
If not, that's cool, we'll play it by ear.
Either way, will anyone be in that general area at that general time and feel like pickin up a couple of touristing canucks??

I am 99% sure that it does.

Alcohol has a completely different connotation than it doesn in the non-US coutries like Canada and Europe.

My niece passed up a free vacation to come over to us when she was 18 because she wouldn't be able to go out and drink. *shrugs* She has since gotten it all out of her system and regrets that she did it, but that is life.

Well, it seems Summerfield doesn't have any availability for Friday the 30th and Sat the 31st. So, what's another hotel that is close by?

Ok, these are my options:

If AA accepts the ticket to Newark Airport, I will try on friday the SJU-EWR leaving at 09:00AM arriving there at 12:55P. There is another arriving 5:43PM.

If I have to go JFK, I will arrive at 12:56P. The other is at 4:00PM.

Who and where will got car pool at these airports ?

Oh, and I need to share a room....will pay my share.
